BE Lifestyle Retreats

BE Lifestyle Retreats is a specialised disability service provider based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.  We provide quality Lifestyle Living for people with high care physical disabilities, on a permanent and respite basis. 

Established in 2006, our Lifestyle Living Program provides services to people with:

• Acquired Brain Injuries
• Neurological conditions
• Neuromuscular conditions
• Spinal injuries
• Complex and multiple disabilities 

BE Lifestyle Retreats is all about the Customer – with each Customer living a lifestyle of their choice, with their own room in a shared care environment in one of our four-bedroom retreats on the Sunshine Coast (Coolum hinterland and Maroochydore).

These idyllic settings provide modern and relaxing environments for our Customers, with our unique family-style lifestyle encouraging Customers to reach their fullest potential.

Customers are warmly welcomed into the nearby seaside communities which, over the years, have fully embraced our customers, creating strong linkages and a spirit of acceptance.  Customers are encouraged to take advantage of all that the communities offer, including visiting the library, the relaxed restaurants and seaside parkland areas, or participating in and enjoying many community events such as concerts, sporting events or our Sunday afternoons with music on the beach.

Owner and Managing Director Belinda Wardlaw has Muscular Dystrophy, and lives and works with the motto of ‘Making a difference, one life at a time’.  Our services - tried and tested by Belinda throughout her life personally and professionally - provide 24 hour 7 days a week specialised care.  We also provide Allied Health Programs, individual Community Access and Therapy programs, as
well as Holistic Care programs including meditation, relaxation, chiropractic care, hairdressing, podiatry, massage and community lifestyle living skills development.

BE Lifestyle Retreats creates a place of security, consistency of care, individual programs and community participation, with the choice and freedom for Customers to reach their fullest potential.
