If you need more time with the doctor, please tell the receptionist when you make your booking. Urgent medical problems will always be dealt with promptly.
HOUSE CALLS
We are available to visit you at home if you are too sick to come to the surgery. Please ring in the morning if possible so that house calls can be made at lunchtime.
AFTER-HOURS
When the surgery is closed, please ring for information on after-hours care.
OUR PRACTICE
Our practice is fully accredited and is committed to providing the highest possible level of service and care for all our patients. All patient information and medical records are kept strictly confidential. The practice employs a full time practice nurse to assist our doctors in caring for our patients.
If you have any problems, complaints or suggestions, please speak to Dr Peter Martin, the practice principal, or to the office manager, Gail, or drop us a line.
FEES
Please pay in full at the time of consultation by cash, Visa, MasterCard or EFTPOS. The practice has installed HIC online and so can process your Medicare claim immediately so your Medicare refund will be in your bank account within 3 days. A $10 credit fee applies when the account is not paid in full at the time of consultation.
Pensioners and health care cardholders and children under the age of 16 are bulk-billed. Veterans are bulk-billed for all consultations.
FULL ACCREDITATION
Both the Tin Can Bay and the Rainbow Beach branch practices have been successfully fully accredited by AGPAL , recognizing the high standards of general medicine provided by the COOLOOLA COAST CLINIC.
