Captivating Creatures Mini Market Day on the Verandah
Animals are on show at the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre to commemorate World Animal Day.
Sunshine Coast artist’s Natalie Barlow, Janet Carew and Fiona Groom have come together to create an exhibition celebrating animals through art.
The exhibition is diverse, quirky and engaging with all three artists passionate about nature and particularly animal life. Basing the show around World Animal Day the artists have chosen the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge as their beneficiary so as a result a percentage of all sales will be going to help SCARS ,it is Natalie’s, Janet’s and Fiona’s intention to help the refuge and raise awareness for the cause.
The exhibition will run from the 16th September concluding on the 26th October and during this time there will be a variety of activities’ planned, including a World Animal Day Market place on the verandah of the Butter Factory on the 1st of October it is a free event, and a portion of the proceeds from the sales will go to The Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge .
