Mother's Day Celebrations

Occurs every week on Saturday

It can be tricky to work out something different each year to buy your Mum for
Mother’s Day!
Each visitor looking for the perfect present for Mum at the Big Pineapple Markets on Saturday 2 or 9 May will be in the running to win a Pamper Pack of toiletries and goodies for their Mum, if they make a purchase of fresh produce or any other goods.
It’s important to spoil Mum at least one day a year, if not all year round.
Apart from the Pamper Pack prize option, the market also offers a selection of ladies fashion and accessories to choose from, as well as oil and acrylic paintings from the art gallery, sweet smelling soaps and much more.
There are a few new gift lines suitable for Mums in the Big Pineapple tourist shop – everything from collectable spoons to ginger jams, Big Pineapple aprons, Queensland shopping bags, postcards and tea towels.
For an experience rather than a gift, Mums will love the markets Greek Café, French Crepes, Red Dog Coffee Shop and art gallery.
The Saturday Big Pineapple Markets are one of the biggest all-weather markets on the Sunshine Coast. This iconic tourist attraction continues to grow every week with more and more people wanting to build their businesses by promoting themselves at The Big Pineapple. The market is best known for its huge variety of fresh and local produce. Virtually 50% of the market’s floor space is dedicated to the sale of fresh produce, including fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, chicken, seafood and delicatessen products. The Big Pineapple, a national icon, nestling on 165 hectares, at Woombye has provided healthy family and tourist entertainment for more than four decades.
Hundreds of visitors from interstate and overseas enjoy taking photos at The Big Pineapple observation deck all year round.
After a visit to the Big Pineapple, visitors can pop next door with their children to see the animals at the Queensland Zoo. Zoo tickets will be available at the markets.
